Air locker for NISSAN, complete kit with compressor RD136

Описание

Description The air locker is a differential designed for direct replacement of your existing one. It can be used both as a conventional differential and as a 100% locked unit — whether front or rear. When engaged, it locks both half-shafts and thus transfers the driving force to both wheels 50% : 50% for maximum traction. The locking mechanism is controlled by the driver via a button on the vehicle’s dashboard. The front lock may be activated when driving over slippery surfaces with reduced grip and de-activated when driving on surfaces with good grip, in order to maintain optimal steering control. For safety reasons, the front lock cannot be used unless the rear one is activated. What the kit includes The kit contains everything required for installing the differential lock, along with instructions for installation. Installation at an authorised service centre is recommended. The supplier provides a 3-year warranty . Technical details - Weight: 15 kg - Dimensions: 28 × 28 × 28 cm Compatible NISSAN models - Navara, Terrano, D21, D22 – H233B, 31 spline (6 cyl.) – after 1986, for all models – rear differential lock only. - Pathfinder WD21, R50 – H233B, 31 spline (6 cyl.) – 1986-05, for all models – rear differential lock only. - Y61, Patrol GU – H233B, 31 spline – after 1998, for all models – front differential lock only. - Y60, Patrol GQ – H233B, 31 spline – 1988-98, for all models – front differential lock only. - Terrano II Wagon – H233B, 31 spline – after 1997 – for all models – rear differential lock only. How it works Since the locker is activated by compressed air, a compressor or another source of compressed air is required. The compressor is activated by the driver via a dashboard button. The pressure in the expansion tank is monitored by a regulator and operates in the range of 5.9 bar to 6.9 bar . When the locker button is pressed, the pneumatic valve opens and allows the compressed air to reach the differential via an air line that connects them.
