User Data Deletion

PartsMarkt is the data controller for accounts on partsmarkt.com. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time via the methods below. Deletion is processed within 30 days as required under GDPR Article 17 (right to erasure).
Option 1 — In-app (fastest)
- Sign in to your account at partsmarkt.com/login.
- Open Account settings.
- Click "Delete account" at the bottom of the page and confirm.
This triggers immediate anonymisation of personal identifiers and queues full data erasure.
Option 2 — By email (no account access required)
If you cannot sign in, email support@partsmarkt.com from the address registered on your account with the subject line "Data deletion request". Include:
- The email address on the PartsMarkt account
- (Optional) Your seller business name, if applicable
We will reply within 5 working days and complete erasure within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Account credentials (email, password hash)
- Seller / buyer profile (name, phone, business info)
- Listings authored by the account (also removed from Meta Commerce Catalog within 30 days)
- Buyer enquiries and in-platform messages you authored
- Saved searches, garage vehicles, notification preferences
- GDPR consent records
What we keep (and why)
- Order records with anonymised counter-party data — required by Bulgarian accounting law (Law on Accountancy, Art. 12) for 10 years.
- Stripe payment records — retained by Stripe under their separate retention policy (typically 7 years).
- Aggregated, non-identifying analytics (page-view counts, etc.).
Data exported to Meta / Facebook
Listings are mirrored to our Meta Commerce Catalog (id 960901226885125). On deletion, the corresponding catalog items are removed via Meta's items_batch API within 30 days. No personal data of buyers is ever sent to Meta.
