Air locker for MITSUBISHI, complete kit with compressor RD110.

Описание

Description The air locker is a differential designed for direct replacement of your existing one. It can serve as a conventional differential or as a 100% locked one — front or rear. When engaged, it locks both half-shafts and thereby transfers the driving force equally (50% : 50%) to both wheels for maximum traction. The locking mechanism is controlled by the driver via a button on the vehicle’s dashboard. The front locker can be activated when driving on slippery surfaces with reduced grip, and deactivated when driving on surfaces with good grip, in order to preserve optimum steering control. For safety reasons, the front locker cannot be used unless the rear one is already activated. What the kit contains The kit includes everything needed for the installation of the differential lock, along with instructions. Installation at an authorised service centre is recommended. The supplier offers a 3-year warranty. Technical details - Weight: 15 kg. - Dimensions: 28 × 28 × 28 cm. Compatible MITSUBISHI models - Montero, Raider, Pajero, Delica (van) / Shogun — from 1989, IFS, 28 spline, 8.00″ RG — for all models: front differential locker. - Challenger, Montero Sport, Pajero Sport — IFS, 28 spline — for all models: rear differential locker. - Triton, L200, Pickup — IFS, 28 spline, 8.00″ RG — for all models: front differential locker. How it works Since the locker is activated by compressed air, a compressor or another source of compressed air is required. The compressor is activated by the driver via a button on the dashboard. The pressure in the expansion tank is monitored by a regulator, operating in the range of 5.9 bar to 6.9 bar. When the locker button is pressed, the pneumatic valve opens and allows compressed air to reach the differential via an air line.
