Air locker for SUZUKI, complete kit with compressor RD208.

Описание

Description The air locker is a differential for direct replacement of your existing one. It can be used either as a conventional differential or as a 100% locked one — either front or rear. When engaged, it locks both half-shafts and thereby transfers drive force to both wheels 50 % : 50 % for maximum traction. The locking mechanism is controlled by the driver via a button on the vehicle’s dashboard. The front locker can be activated when travelling on slippery surfaces with reduced grip, and deactivated when on surfaces with good grip — to ensure optimum steering control. For safety reasons, the front locker cannot be used unless the rear one is activated. What the kit contains The kit includes everything required for installing the differential lock, along with instructions for installation. Installation at an authorised workshop is recommended. The supplier provides a 3-year warranty . Technical details - Weight: 15 kg. - Dimensions: 28 × 28 × 28 cm. Compatible SUZUKI models - Sierra / Samurai / Jimny — from 1984 onwards, only models not 1.3 26 spline; rear differential lock only. - Vitara / Sidekick / Grand Vitara / XL7 — 1988-98, 26 spline; front differential lock. How it works Because the locker is activated via compressed air, a compressor or other source of compressed air is required. The compressor is triggered by the driver via a button on the dashboard. The pressure in the expansion tank is monitored by a regulator and operates in the range 5.9 bar to 6.9 bar . When the locker button is pressed, the pneumatic valve opens and allows the compressed air to reach the differential via an air line connecting them.
